This school house is a local one that came from just down the road of the show grounds.  Even some of our founding members went to school there when they were young.  We feel honored even having the school teacher that taught in the school house when she was younger.  Her name is Arlene Carney.  She now lives in the Marble Rock area.  She has been a great tribute to the heritage of the school house.  The interior has been restored to the likes of it when it was used decades ago.  Even some of the original lesson books have migrated back into the collection.  We ask you to make this one of the must see spots when you come to the show.  We would also like it if you would sign the guest book when taking a look inside.  If you want the teacher might just give you something to do while you are at your desk.
